Open call for the 1st RAMA festival of arts

RAMA encourages artists and collectives, performers, musicians and those who want to hold their own event submit an application

RAMA festival will be held at SKC BAZA

December 13, 2024 - January 25, 2025

Belgrade’s vibrant cultural and music life engages thousands of people and became over the years one of the city's major attractions. However, the majority of the creative clusters lack financial and infrastructure support for many reasons. Lot’s of initiatives continue to operate due to the affection of the founders and loyalty to the ideas of enlightenment. At the same time for the past several years the city has enormously changed and welcomed a lot of new residents who lead a parallel cultural life.

The organizers of the RAMA festival cannot solve all those problems and are not in possession of any sufficient financial assets and also were not born in Serbia, however they definitely have the desire to unite creative people from different countries for the purposes of starting a discussion, deepening of the networking, creating the atmosphere of trust and support among each other and our audience.

For the 1st edition of the festival was chosen an extremely broad theme which sounds “Close-up. Reflection. Belgrade”.

The organizers call on artists and art groups, as well as musicians, stand-up comedians, directors and musicians with no age or citizenship restrictions to submit their applications.

In the application, please

-describe your work/initiative for the festival (in text, photo, video format)

-attach a link to your portfolio or portfolio in pdf format.

The RAMA festival is completely non-profit and is based on the principle of self-organization: all expenses for the creation of works, transportation, equipment rental, installation, dismantling are borne by the festival participants themselves. Participation in the festival is free. The list of participants will be published on the festival website after November 13th

The application period is open from September 1 to November 4, 2024.
