"Contemporary artists are used to being their own viewers, and the process of art increasingly turns into a psychodrama of self-contemplation."
— Boris Groys
This is not a struggle for likes. We want sincere projects that you create for yourself, and we give you the opportunity to show them to others.
This is not a gallery in the traditional sense. We aim to break free from white walls and the confines of social media, to unleash potential, to remember our ideas, and to bring them to life under the arches of a hall in the heart of Belgrade.
For a time, we want to create a public space where a closed cycle of metaphors reveals something new about the world to itself. And even if we only have the chance to do this for one hour or one day, we want to take it.
The theme of the festival is Close-Up "My Self" and its reflection in the world of Belgrade.
Close-up is not just a projection of the outer world but a deep exploration of one’s own identity, reflecting the multifaceted aspects of life. In this context, Belgrade becomes not just a backdrop but an active participant in the search for the "self." This capital city, where stories, cultures, and destinies intersect, serves as the perfect canvas for documentary narratives.
